Collection: A.D. Childers

A. D. Childers lives in Kansas where she enjoys a life full of teaching and writing. She teaches writing to teens and adults, hold a Master’s in Creative Writing for Educators from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and has attained the status of Fellow and Teacher Consultant with the National Writing Project. She serves as membership chair for Kansas Writers Inc. She also writes short stories, a number of which have won awards at the state level, and earned an Honorable Mention in the 92nd Annual Writers Digest Writing Competition. When not at work, she can be found hiking the local trails or hanging out at the library. She lives with her wonderful and bearded husband, a grumpy cat, and her sweet Kodi-beast-dog, who is her constant snuggle companion while writing.
